TITLE: Store Manager
JOB STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt
LOCATION: Chicago, IL (The Shops at North Bridge)

The primary role of the Store Manager is to manage the operations as well as the customer’s in-store experience for ELOQUII. ELOQUII’s Store Manager will lead and direct all activities required to achieve all store goals, including financial objectives, client service, operational controls, payroll and operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation while driving both associate and client engagement.
Direction/Revenue Generation:
·Defines and develops a clear business strategy to grow sales & profits and maximizes opportunities to generate additional store volume/revenue
·Achieves quantifiable performance results (e.g. Net Sales, ROV, Conversion, UPT, Payroll, Inventory, Shortage, and Operational Assessments)
·Directs client service efforts that are consistent with ELOQUII standards; coaches associates on client interactions to increase transactions and capture client opportunities
·Drives revenue by proactively managing teams to embrace ELOQUII Customer Experience standards while effectively performing Store Leadership responsibilities
·Analyzes and uses business reports to identify missed opportunities and to positively impact store performance
·Demonstrates ability to manage complex and competing priorities
·Provides feedback to District Manager on trends in the retail marketplace
People Management:
·Achieves excellent client service by role modeling the ELOQUII Customer Experience standards
·Recruits, attracts, selects, hires, and develops diverse talent. Proactively fills positions with qualified talent based on fit to brand and fit to team
·Conducts regular, effective performance discussions; sets clear objectives aligned with brand strategy and holds Associates accountable to goals. Proactively provides timely feedback to associates, rewarding and recognizing to drive retention and engagement
·Manages conflict and coaches by applying ELOQUII's recommended processes, standards and guidelines
·Shares information and communicates clearly and in an accessible manner to all levels
Operational Excellence:
·Understands and models the ELOQUII culture and ensures compliance with all ELOQUII Purpose, Values & Behaviors, Practices, and store operational standards
·Leads execution of brand visual merchandising updates and product placement within corporate guidelines and maintains visual expectations as defined by the Visual Merchandising Standards
·Effectively prioritizes and controls workload through successful planning (i.e. daily, monthly, quarterly, etc.) and delegation
·Leverages tools, processes, and best practices to drive operational excellence and consistently executes Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's). Maintains the store's organization, appearance, and cleanliness according to Standing Operating Procedures (SOP's)
·Embraces fashion, understands current market trends and is able to articulate them using ELOQUII interpretations in every client interaction. Represents the brand by adhering to ELOQUII's dress code guidelines
·Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
·Human Resources: Proven ability to recruit, select, develop, and retain full store team and hold individuals accountable for performance, practice, etc.
·Client Service: Demonstrate ability to function as a role model, ensuring that the client remains the top priority
·Store Operations and Organization: Demonstrate ability to organize, delegate, prioritize, meet deadlines, and follow-up on all store activities
·Leadership: Proven ability to respectfully challenge and motivate the management team and associates
·Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and substitute with ELOQUII's guidelines
·Communication: Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills to Store Team, District Manager, Functional Business Partners, and Clients
·Business Analysis: Ability to forecast and analyze business trends, take actions on findings, and manage payroll expense in order to maximize store performance
·Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts. Must have open availability. Overnight travel occasionally required
·Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally. Maneuver effectively around sales floor, stock room, and back office and be accessible to customers
Educational Requirements and Experience:
·2-5 years in retail management experience with proven results
·Strong managerial skills
·Proven ability to drive sales results
·Passionate about Fashion and Customer Service!
·Ability to work cross functionally
·Proficient in MS Office Applications
·Undergraduate Degree (Business or Fashion related discipline a plus)
